Happy Birthday Brielle!!!!

Brielle turned 24 on Nov. 28th, so I tried to change things up for her a bit and get her out of St. George so she could relax from all the stuff she has going on here. I had slept at the fire station Fri night, so when I got home from my shift sat morning at seven I figured that would be a good time to get the day started by waking her up with presents. I got her a new camera she had told me she wanted, I figured it could help us update the blog, if any of you have noticed our last update was in July!!! Brielle broke the other camera so it made it hard to take pics of anything we have been doing the last five months. I also got her a snuggy as a joke, she is always turning the heat up in the house so I thought it would be the perfect gift and I could also get a laugh out of it whenever she wears the ugly thing! its cheetah print.

Next we went to breakfast here in St. George and then drove down to Vegas. We had some time to kill so we of course went shopping, (my favorite thing to do.) After we went into my top 5 stores for shopping 1-Juicy, 2-True Religion, 3- Banana Republic, 4-Bebe, 5-Guess. We then went to dinner. I took her to the Claim Jumper. I know we have one here but the one down there is nothing like ours. Here are some pics from dinner, (with the new camera)

Steak and lobster dinner

and a cupcake for the birthday girl!

We then went to a Movie at the Red Rock casino and liked it so much there we decided to stay the night. no toothbrushes, no change of clothes, nothing to comb hair with in the morning, it was awesome!!! We were totally happy with the room we got, it overlooked the strip through windows that went from the floor to the ceiling, and it also had a giant tub and flat screens, what else could you ask for?

After the day was over I thought I did pretty good, she was happy and I was as well. Its always nice to just leave town with no plans and see what happens. Oh, and I won $40 on my way out of the casino:) I love Vegas!

Life Is BUSY!!!!

Hi Friends!!!!!

We have fallen off the face of the Blog world;) So to try and Sum up our life in the past 6 months is kinda impossible, lots has happened so i will try to do my best to update you all.

February- Matt turned #25 on the 18Th. Yahoo!!! His biggest fear with age is that he will soon be going bald haha. It's freaking him out that he can see hair on his hands if he rubs his head lol. He makes me laugh. I do hair 6 days a week, and I his own wife can't even convince him that that is not going to happen anytime soon. He is just fine!!!

March- Matt and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary. Can you believe it? Matt surprised me with going skydiving! Oh yes literally surprised!!!! I knew maybe 5 min before we were going what we were really doing. To tell ya the truth... Matt was more nervous then I was. I think it helped that I went first cause Matt had a long time to think about it as he watched me jump from over 11,000 ft in the air. It was awesome, one of the coolest things we have ever done together. We got it on tape. It is hilarious:)

The gift I decided to give him was more on the mushy cheesy side, but after 4 yrs of birthdays, Christmas's etc.. i felt like I had given him everything i could think of. So I made him a book of our story together of the past three years and recorded 3 songs to go along with each one. When I gave it to him he thought I had burned random love songs to a Cd. But instead they were me singing them:) I think I surprised him too.

April- Baby Ellie Schwartz was born!! She is a doll. I still can't believe little meish is a mommy!!! It's so great. Ellie is such a good baby and meish is a great mommy.

This is Ellie's blessing day She looked like a princess.

May- Work, work, work. Matt has been in EMT classes for the past few months he is a busy guy between fire, EMT, painting, and shift 4. Life just does not seem to slow down. I'm still doing hair at E'lan. It is The greatest job ever!!!!!

June/July- Oh goodness.... I know some of you are wondering what in the world??? why i was in the paper?radio? haha most of you didn't even know I sing. well it's been forever, and singing in church or with Jillian (I love you) Is usually all I agree to. But, after singing on that CD for Matt, It made me realize how much I really do miss singing. I ended up turning in a few songs to the radio station for that country showdown singing contest, what the heck right? Well ended up in the top 10, made it through preliminary rounds, and onto singing on the 4Th of July in the country showdown. SCARY!!! I got to sing with a live Band for the first time. I had a blast!!! I truly can't believe I ended up doing it, I'm usually an embarrassed person and am good at talking myself out of things and making up excuses of why not to do something. But not this time...I just did it for fun, it kept me busy, and it was a great experience.

July- My cute, cute, Brother Elder Kacen Smith comes home on the 15Th From his mission in Lansing Michigan. I am SO excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only 3 more days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow I feel Like I just wrote a long gag letter. I pretty much did. Oh well that is what you all get. I'm a horrible blogger, I need lessons from all of you professionals:)

Pine Valley Weekend

Matt's Parents recently finished their cabin in Pine Valley! It is perfect, they did such a great job with everything. We love it up here! We spent Valentines weekend up here just the two of us:) And then that next weekend we came up to celebrate Matt, Kasi, and Kents B-day.

This is Matt throwing his sister Alisha in the snow. I got this picture in Action:)

The whole Family got in a little bit of a snow fight. Kenny and Kasi were throwing snowballs at each other. I laughed so hard when Kasi picked up the shovel, She was not messing around anymore haha. Poor Kenny didn't have a chance!!!

Kenny and Alisha spent some time making a slope to sled down in the front yard! Our nephew Ian has absolutely no fear. He went down over and over again.

We had a Blast!! Thanks for a fun weekend Kent and Lisa:)

???

We are at a lost for words once again..... Our hearts have been broken, We found out our baby lost its heartbeat. Even though we don't know why this happens, We know things happen for a reason, and we know everything will be ok for us. Only our Heavenly Father knows the plan for our future, and He is only going to give us the trials we will be able to withstand. I truly believe this, and I know someday I will be able to deliver a perfect, healthy baby. and Matt and I will have the opportunity to be the parents we wish to be. We want to thank everyone for your sweet comments, they all meant so much to us. This will happen for us in the future, we just know it:) We have many great friends, and the best family in the world, both of which have been a great shoulder to lean on. We want you all to know that we love you and appreciate everyone so much!!! Thanks again.Love,

Matt & Brielle Provstgaard

"A Message From Heaven"

"A Message From Heaven"
To My dearest Family
With warmth and love
I'm sending this message
from heaven above
A meeting I had
With my maker today
We talked for hours
He had plenty to say
He said it was my turn
To pick a mom and a dad
And give someone on earth
The best gift they've had
But there were so many
To choose from, you see
It took days to decide
Which one was for me
He then spoke of a couple
With warm hearts and care
They longed for a baby
And wished I was there
He said they've been waiting
And waiting for me
They wondered if I was ready
This was try number three!
So, I made my decision
It is now my time
I have a great family
That soon will be mine
I'm ready for my parents
Down there, on earth
Soon they will rejoice
Because of my birth
To my future grandparents
I'm excited to meet
Soon you will tickle
My two little feet
With soft, tender skin
Tiny fingers and toes
Rosy red cheeks
And a cute button nose
Giggles and laughs
And butterfly kisses
I hope this will fill
Your Sweet Christmas wishes
Dark hair, light hair
Brown eyes or blue
It is a secret
I'm Keeping from you!
But soon you will see
On a bright summer day
"Cuz baby Provy
Is on the way!
I look forward to meet you
O! The memories we'll share
It won't be too long
Until I am there
Although it's a mystery
If I'm a girl or boy
I will still be your very own
Bundle of joy
I'm so glad I've found
My perfect parents-to-be
And a very Merry Christmas
To you from me!
Matt and I tried to come up with a different and creative way to tell our family's we were pregnant, again..... Because we had already told them two different times this year and they both ended up in disappointment. We wanted this time to be extra spacial, so the both of us waited all the way until Christmas to tell them with this poem that I had written (with a little help from a friend of mine.) On Christmas eve we gave each family this poem as a gift. It was kinda hard trying to figure out who was going to read the poem for each family because we didn't want them to cry through the whole thing, so we had Matt's Mom read it out loud at his house and my dad read it to everyone at my house. It was a very emotional thing for the both of them and everyone else. There was not a dry eye in the room. I was 13 weeks and by this time they say 12 weeks is "usually" safe. Although I will never really be comfortable with it until I am holding the baby in my arms. We have had 5 Ultra sounds so far this time, so I guess there is a plus about having a higher risk pregnancy:) The last time we were at the Dr. office we were able to hear the heartbeat at 12 weeks, and everything was looking good. So we are both very excited this time and are hoping all will go well.
